Commission a Custom Painting

Whether you’re drawn to Paul’s expansive seascapes or the natural poetry in Jenny’s work, we welcome the opportunity to create something meaningful — something uniquely yours.

What Can You Commission?

We’ve created work inspired by coastal skylines, family cabins, beloved animals, star-filled skies, and dreamlike botanicals.

Jenny’s art often explores the natural world — birds, flowers, forests — but she also welcomes pieces that stretch her imagination. Paul’s paintings are shaped by mood and movement: big skies, quiet oceans, layered landscapes.

We love commissions that start with a spark and become something meaningful — the kind of artwork that feels like it always belonged to you.

Commission Pricing

We base commission pricing on surface area — the height × width of your chosen canvas size — with 10×10 inches as our minimum.

This gives you the freedom to choose a square, panoramic, vertical, or traditional format without limiting your options to a few standard sizes. We’ll guide you if you’re unsure what works best for your vision.

Oil paintings are priced at +30% above the acrylic base due to longer drying times and material cost. We’ll confirm your total before getting started.

Acrylic vs. Oil — What’s the Difference?

We work in both acrylic and oil, and each has its own character. Here’s how they differ — and why you might choose one over the other for your commissioned piece.

Acrylic Painting

  • Dries quickly, allowing us to layer and finish more rapidly
  • Vibrant and crisp — great for bold colors and detailed shapes
  • Easier to ship soon after completion
  • Most commissions are completed in 3–5 weeks

Acrylic is a great choice for bright, layered work, and for projects on a shorter timeline.

Oil Painting

  • Richer texture and more subtle blending
  • Longer drying time — layers can take days or weeks to cure
  • Slight sheen and depth that evolves with age
  • Typically takes 5–8 weeks from start to finish

Oil is ideal for a timeless, classic feel — or for pieces where depth and atmosphere are key.

Not sure which is right for your piece? Let us know what you’re envisioning — we’re happy to help guide you.
